Trip to CA with Grandma & Grandpa W.: The Mormon Battalion

All in the same day we went to the Legoland aquarium, the beach, then headed south to the Mormon Battlian (then back up to Long Beach that night).  The kids had been told by the primary kids in Carlsbad how cool it was and that they HAD to go.  We didn't realize until later that they had been told they could pan for gold.  They were convinced it was real gold.  Haha...so we went.  I went with my family when I was a teen, but this is completely updated.  It was really impressive and brought a sweet spirit with it.

The San Diego temple on our way past on the freeway.
