Staying on top of pictures this time!

After the last picture dump, it has motivated me to take more pictures and to stay more on top of them, so it isn't such a chore to upload them.  These are just from the past two weeks!!!!

Le's friend party with earth worm theme.  These were supposed to load on the bottom of the post.  I am too lazy to shift things around. :)

More party.  Playing wiggle worm.

Comparing "worms" of yarn from the relay.

We started our school year last week!  This is the latest we have ever started (we usually start in July).  I forgot how wonderful a routine is for our day.  The kids play better because their day isn't quite as wide open.  Leland doing his math.

Gavin working on his handwriting.

Shipton with his squishy cheeks!

Sennika working on math.

The boys playing mega blocks all together.  This year I have tried something different and so far, so good.  We do it in "stations" style.  1. time with mom for school 2. keeping track of Shipton 3. free time.  Each of the 3 oldest rotate through.

Just look at him!  Such a doll!  He looks like a preschooler here.

My cousin was generous to allow us to borrow this bed.  Since the cruise he hasn't stayed in his bed most nights.  He wants to fall asleep in our bed (he had a toddler bed) and we have had difficulty even transferring him to his own bed.  This twin bed has enough space with a parent to lay be him PLUS it is such a cool bed.  He loves to do "cannon balls" off it.

Sorry it's sideways, but Gavin deeply engaged in Lego creations.

SEE!  It fits Daddy too!

She looked so pretty all dolled up, but wouldn't smile "normal..."  WHATEVER pretty girl! :)

Shipton playing board games.  One of our favorite ways to pass the time on our LOOOOONG Sabbath mornings (church starts at 1:45) is to play board games.

Gavin and Senn playing dictionary

More "cannon balls" of his bed.
Sennika not cooperating for a posed picture.  Well, I will take it anyway! :)

Mom pushing Sennika.

Mom swinging with Shipton and Senn.

Leland driving "the pirate ship" at the park.

We went to temple square for Labor Day.  Mom and the kids in the Joseph Smith Memorial building.

Mom and Shipton doing superman rides

Dad and Ship

OH, I love to see bookworms...we start 'em young at our house! :)

Shipton picking strawberries from G&G Willis's garden.  I LOVED all 3 of these pictures.

"smiling" :D  We took a quick trip up to Idaho.  Mark helped run some training for their sister company.  We spent our first night at some dear, dear friends from our last Rexburg ward.  We had such a nice visit!  I was also able to sneak in a visit with my bestie while Mark took the kids, which was refreshing as always.  We planned to camp, but forgot how much colder ID is than our balmy northern UT, so bagged our plans with the cold and the wind.  We slept at Mark's parents' house and enjoyed their toys and doing some things around the house and yard.

More park fun.  Shipton carrying around his sandwich.  Le and Mom in the background.

Gavin on the monkey bars.
This is from Le's friend party.  He had planned for months to have a worm party.  Making worm tracks by finger painting with yarn.

This was a combination of awesome and disgusting.  We sliced hot dogs in quarters and after boiling them, they naturally curled like this.

Instead of a cake he requested dirt cups.

Leland with a picture he drew.

Headed to ID.

We stopped at A&W around the halfway mark for root beer floats.  It was a much better price to buy larges and share.

Here is my favorite of the strawberry pictures.  Such a sweet, sweet smile! :)

Sennika planned a puppet show for the boys.

It's the beginnings of fall in ID!  We were shocked!

Shipton

This was crazy!  There was a big, juicy grasshopper on the table when we were waiting for snow cones.  A few of the kids got up their guts to touch it.  Unexpectedly to all of us see below what happened...

It jumped on Gavin's nose!

Senn and Le caring for snails.

More party.
Le's party favors.

We hung a worm from the ceiling.

worm balloons! :)

Le with his friend checking out the live bait we bought for observation for the party.
